On a whim I decided to use the cheapest, junkiest USB hub that I bought long ago for something like $5 on eBay. I tried different USB cables, even tried a different laptop. I was also getting an occasional "guru mediation" message and I don't know what the hell that is. ![]() I left it all night and when I got up the next morning it was still sitting at 3% erased. It connected okay, but it just couldn't erase the old firmware. I'll unplug everything else and dedicate a USB slot just for this. I love that it's really strange and a bit difficult and doesn't seem to make much sense. Played around with it for a while and I'm really, really liking it.
